We work closely with artisans that are passionate about their art. THE STORY OF THE HAND WOVEN WRAP

From the softer textures, floral pattern mild, with well defined borders to dark maroons, bottle greens, turquoise blues, and earthy reds  our fabrics and weaves range from soft cottons to luxurious silks. Shining silver Zari borders bring to life intricate designs of as weave after weave creates patterns that are decorated with small butis and mirror work.

Each piece is a work of art - a brilliant estimation made by a passionate mind, expressed through a life time of dedication and skill, using the simplest of tools, and the most vibrant of threads.

The rhythm of the wooden weave resounds all over, reverberating on the blue walls, before floating out through colored threads into the 'aangan', or the common area. The simple, yet beautiful workshop is alive with activity, as nimble fingers move with an accurate dexterity that defies belief. The tiny radio spills out tunes new, as the ladies create fascinating designs, blending the traditional art of weaving and dyeing of cotton, as was done in India from 5000 years ago.
